We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer who will be responsible for replacing the current solution based on server-side HTML templates rendering with a single-page application. Firstly, you will work on setting up the new application build process from scratch. Secondly, you will work on gradually replacing each page rendered on the server side with modules of SPA.
The component you will take responsibility for is offered as SaaS and is delivered from our own centralized infrastructure. This role is incredibly challenging and captivating, given the scalability challenges and sensitive nature of the data we deal with. A thorough understanding of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Angular, and security is crucial. Your work will directly impact the safety and functionality of millions of websites worldwide, so attention to detail and a high-quality standards are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing user interfaces using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular)
- Technical ownership of the created application
- Working with Linux-based systems for deployment
- Building pipelines for code testing and delivery
- Ensuring application security and data protection
- Troubleshooting and debugging code across the stack
- Version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests
- Reviewing your colleagues' code
- Planning your work forward
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Javascript, CSS, and HTML
- Proficiency with Angular for frontend development
- Proficiency with Bootstrap or similar frameworks
- Proven experience in building web applications and scalable systems
- Proficiency with Git for version control
- Strong experience with building CI pipelines in tools like GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience with Linux as a deployment environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- An upper-intermediate level of English language proficiency
- Ability to work with vague requirements
- You are a team player who can collaborate effectively
