Are you a front-end guru who enjoys bringing ideas to life in the browser? If you said yes, then BTI360 has exciting career opportunities for you. Our front-end teams are focused on bringing our apps to life on the screen. We're looking for a Front-end Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph along with experience building functional, intuitive, and stunning user interfaces. You will turn visual designs and wireframes into reality, creating an enhanced user experience addressing important and impactful mission needs. Our Front-end Software Engineers are well-versed in the latest frameworks and are always looking for ways to make apps easier to use and more powerful at the same time.
In this role, you will:
- Be a part of an exciting program that serves the core operational mission of our U.S. government customer. This mid-sized, high-visibility program is paving the way for next-generation search, access control, and content curation capabilities at the heart of what our customer does.
- Transform the way our U.S. government customer does business.
- Front-end develop on our program's high-performance development team by leveraging modern technologies and practices including Lean Agile, Clean Code, and DevOps.
- Be supporting a product team for our application, learning what makes our U.S. government customer who they are, integrating with multiple external systems, and working with the customer’s most sensitive data.
- Influence how our customer executes their mission. With classified programs we know it’s hard to share what we do and have it mean anything. Trust us (and our giant snack supplies), you want to work with us on this program… and we want you too.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Have proven experience with JavaScript, particularly with Angular or React.
- Have 1 + years experience with Angular or React
- Have 3 + years experience in Software Engineering
You will excel in this role if you have also these skills:
- Experience with Web Accessibility
- Experience with Responsive Design
- Experience with state management using Redux, NgRx, or NGXS
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3
- Experience with E2E testing frameworks like Protractor, Playwright, Selenium, and PhantomJS
- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Jest, and Jasmine
- Experience converting UX mockups to UIs
- Experience working with AWS (AWS certification a double plus!)
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with containers (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with Continuous Integration software like Jenkins
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Contributes to the open-source community
