We are looking for a full-time, skilled and growth-minded Senior Front-End Engineer. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Web development with JavaScript, TypeScript and React, is open-minded, curious and flexible in learning new things, and has a pragmatic approach to solving problems.
You will join our talented and innovative Creative Suite team that is passionately working on our next generation of interactive, AI-powered video-based creation & consumption capabilities. We have a strong engineering culture and we take pride in being product-minded engineers that understand the impact of built functionality on our end-users and actively contribute to decision-making within the teams.
In this role, you will:
- Develop high-quality, flexible and reusable UI components with React.js/TypeScript
- Build high-performance and interactive video creation & editing experiences
- Ensure high code quality by fostering open collaboration during code reviews
- Suggest technical solutions that maximize product impact on the end-users
- Strive for high-quality code, documentation, adhere to coding standards, and promote best practices within the team
- Work closely with back-end and QA engineers as part of a cross-functional and adaptive Agile team
- Collaborate with Product stakeholders to define the shape of a solution that solves key user problems
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to integrate designs into the technical solution
- Contribute to engineering processes and internal initiatives that strengthen our product platform
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in front-end development with a proven success record
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of advanced libraries such as Redux state management, RTK Query, or similar
- Experience with video / audio / graphics web APIs and libraries is a plus (WebCodecs, Canvas, SVG, WebGL, Three.js or a subset of these)
- Solid knowledge of programming principles, best practices and modern development processes
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs & SaaS platforms
- Experience of working with Agile methodologies like Scrum and KanBan
- Being a team player and having a strong sense of accountability
- Ability to take complete ownership of a bug, feature, or entire project and drive it to completion
- Ability to understand a problem from the product and business perspective and create a solution that aligns with the overall architecture.
- Passion to explore and use the latest development tools and platforms
- Bachelor's Degree in CS or equivalent work experience
- Fluency in both Romanian and English (written and spoken)
