Job Title: FP&A Director
Location: Columbus, OH , or New York, NY
About the Role:
Orange Barrel Media is seeking a strategic, data-driven FP&A Director to lead our financial planning and analysis function. In this role, you’ll partner closely with department leaders across the company to provide actionable financial insights that support our growth and help us invest in impactful work.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial planning in partnership with department leaders.
- Lead the implementation of financial modeling software and integrate with current ERP.
- Develop and refine financial models and dashboards that help drive business performance and decision-making.
- Analyze key business trends, KPIs, and financial results to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Accounting to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts.
- Provide strategic financial support for business initiatives, investments, and new projects.
- Manage, develop, and mentor FP&A team members (including Analysts).
- Continuously improve planning tools, processes, and systems to increase efficiency and insights.
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking preferred
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with planning tools and BI dashboards a plus.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and leading planning processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A mix of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
