Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team to be based in Mexico City. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to provide insights that drive business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with various departments to assess financial data, forecast trends, and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role within professional services.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial data and present findings.
- Support cost analysis and profitability assessments to enhance financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Provide insights into business trends, industry benchmarks, and economic indicators.
- Assist in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
