Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the financial planning and analysis team. This person will be responsible for creating, preparing, and maintaining month-end reporting. In addition, they will be responsible for investigating data variances, identifying and implementing process improvements, and assisting the Corporate FP&A team on Ad-Hoc projects. The role will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Reporting and take ownership on end-to-end reporting. The ideal candidate must have strong integrity, be highly motivated, intellectually curious, take ownership, and ability to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with annual budgeting

· Collaborate with accounting during monthly / quarterly close to review and ensure accuracy

· Analyze actual versus budget and identify trends

· Drive solid operating cadence and financial discipline across monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and planning

· Build strong relationships with cross-functional leaders across the organization

· Define and report KPIs to assess spending efficiency

· Identify opportunities and offer recommendations to improve efficiency and performance

· Assist in initiatives to centralize data for more streamlined reporting and analytics

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify requirements for enhancements to existing systems and workflow; automate processes as possible

· Develop and maintain scalable, ad-hoc reports to inform finance & business leaders

· Perform various ad hoc analyses on the business across stated strategic priorities and metrics

· Aid in the development and improvement of team members’ knowledge and skills of existing and future financial software and processes

Qualifications Expected for Position:

· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or business administration 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a corporate financial analyst, business analyst, or data analyst

· Solid analytical skills and intellectually curious

· Highly organized and process-oriented; strong attention to detail with creative problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to coordinate information across multiple teams and business units

· Build effective business relationships

· Understand the value of data integrity and implications of inaccurate reporting

· Ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines

· Understanding of P&L dynamics and unit economics

· Strong Excel skills (knowledge with SmartView a plus)

· Prior healthcare experience is a plus
