As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be the regional financial analyst for the Protective & Marine Coatings (PMC) United States and Canada (USCA) region. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the annual preparation of Business Strategy Reviews, Profit Plans, and reporting and analysis of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance. You will prepare relevant financial analysis and analyze financial trends. You will provide clear and concrete analysis on special projects for the PMC USCA business. You will report to the Finance Director, PMC Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Director, PMC USCA in the development of the annual Regional Business Review and Profit Plan.
- Monthly business review processes including compilation, assimilation and explanation of monthly financial results / forecasts and deviations.
- Use your industry expertise to stay in-tune to the market, customer and competition and take that data to support commercial initiatives.
- Deliver critical financial analysis measuring business performance, returns on investment, and improving productivity.
- Support IT system updates in the region – SAP implementation / Power BI.
- Oversee the Finance Leadership Development position for PMC USCA.
- Support in the calculations and administration of sales incentive plans.
- Operate in a matrix environment and supporting commercial and functional initiatives and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field with at least 5 years of experience required.
- Must have ability to analyze and interpret financial data and determine appropriate course of action.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP/prior SAP experience and Power BI required.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Reporting/Hyperion Planning preferred.
