The position
The role involves ensuring an enhanced financial understanding across the organization through training and participation in cross-area processes, including site visits. It also entails ensuring the prompt and reliable delivery of formal submissions and ad-hoc requests within your domain. Additionally, it involves aligning financial submissions from API with the requirements and securing API areas in meeting financial targets, and representing API in financial matters as needed. Furthermore, managing areas of responsibility includes overseeing production economy, performance management, business intelligence, manning and capacity costs.
As a Senior Finance Partner, you will:• Analyse and report on PS API's production economy, including unit costs, allocations, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances.• Ensure solid financial deliverables from PS API to relevant stakeholders.• Safeguard financial targets in PS API.• Demonstrate broad knowledge within finance processes and act as the local Process Champion and sometimes PS API champion.• Lead projects or standard problem-solving tasks to seek improvement opportunities and solve business challenges.• Proactively use area knowledge and business insight to seek improvement opportunities and solve business challenges.• Reactively support central or local business cases and decision-making involving areas of responsibility.• Establish and continuously improve financial forecasting, planning and reporting across PS API.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:• Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.• Experience with production economy, including unit costs, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances.• Experience with financial processes, including planning, reporting, and management, as well as broad business knowledge.• Strong communication skills, preferably in Danish and English.• Analytical and IT flair.• Independence and flexibility.• Ability to manage stakeholders at different levels.• Proactive, result, and solution-oriented mindset based on LEAN principles.

About the department
You will be joining the team API Manufacturing Finance in the department API Finance and Procurement. API Manufacturing Finance supports our API production facilities with financial analysis and business insights. We transform data into strategies, informing managerial decisions with our findings. We contribute to a range of optimisation projects and provide many insights that shape the way we will do things in the future. Our data sources are varied, and the models we employ have been part of Novo Nordisk's success - making us ready for the latest Novo Nordisk product is part of our mission, ensuring that we work in the best way possible, when it comes to efficiency, yield, and agility.
