Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Design freedom and development opportunities: Both during the restructuring phase and in the future, you can expect exciting tasks and diverse personal and professional development opportunities in a dynamic team and a highly attractive market environment.
- As a process owner, you will play an important role in the outsourcing of the product business for commercial issues in the area of inventory and production accounting for the manufacturing plants.
- You are responsible for the process definition and the functional concept for the inventory valuation tool in the SAP ERP system in cooperation with the experts of the group accounting. As a process owner, you will coordinate and optimize the inventory, inventory valuation, and scrapping processes. Analyzing result data and calculating input parameters are also part of your responsibilities.
- You will develop functional concepts for plant and overhead cost controlling and oversee the calculated margin report in SAP BW from a functional perspective.
- In the interdisciplinary product team (incl. IT), you will develop solutions for controlling and reporting requirements in SAP CO and BI systems with a focus on inventory and product cost reporting.
- You will support the implementation of concept and process changes through effective change management.
- After the outsourcing project, you will be part of the team that will support the planned group-wide implementation of SAP S4-HANA in your area of responsibility.
- You will continuously identify opportunities for optimizing and automating controlling or financial processes in your area of responsibility and implement them.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience and know-how: Several years of professional experience in controlling in a manufacturing company, ideally in the design and implementation of financial and controlling processes in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA. Very high IT affinity, very good knowledge of SAP ERP 6.0, especially in SAP CO, and ideally knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and PP. Knowledge of BI systems such as SAP BW or IBM Planning Analytics is advantageous. Very good MS Office skills for comprehensive analyses.
- Personality and work style: Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high focus on results. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Working in an international environment is a given.
- Languages: fluent in spoken and written English
