Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review, on Wednesday 8 May 2024 it was announced that Perpetual Limited (Perpetual) would become a standalone Asset Management business. As a result, Perpetual has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (together with its affiliates, (KKR)) who will acquire 100% of the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
An exciting opportunity to be part of the Perpetual Australia Asset Management Finance team supporting the local Asset Management business with Business Planning & Analysis activities.
About the role
Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Australia Asset Management! As a Senior Finance Analyst - Business Planning & Analysis, you will:

Maintain multiple Variable Remuneration models ensuring the accuracy of monthly accruals and rolling forecasts and budgets.

Manage Opex and FTE reporting for front office and back-office departments, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders to ensure costs are managed within budget and variances are explained.

Maintain detailed tracking of certain expense lines such as Data Services, ensuring the business is in control of these costs.

Support the Senior Manager and FP&A team with forecasting and budgeting activities and updating the forecast and plan data in the Workday Adaptive system.

Support transformation projects (GL Migration, new Workday Adaptive implementation) as required.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:

A natural problem solver with analytical and curious mindset

Proactive and is a self-starter with an aptitude for continuous process improvement and a history of producing detailed process documentation.

Diligent, strong attention to detail with ability to identify errors and proactively investigate reasons for variances, before sharing potential solutions.

Effective communicator and ability to influence when articulating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Degree qualified and CA/CPA 4+ years post qualification

Strong technical proficiency (Workday Adaptive and TechOne strongly preferred) with TM1 and Computron also an advantage.
