Overview
Your role for Wolters Kluwer is responsible for prospecting new business in new customer accounts to support the execution of the Wolters Kluwer sales strategy. We are looking for someone with a hunter mentality preferably within the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective, long-term relationships and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with your clients.
The territory consists of the following states: KY, MI, OH, TN, VA, and WV.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Continuously seek new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Deliver on and finalize the sales process to meet revenue targets. Meet with potential clients face-to-face as required, via webcast, or phone, discussing, documenting and fully understanding client business needs and goals.
- Own and coordinate all sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate multi-year contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
- Utilizes sales tech stack including Outreach.io, Chorus.ai, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. in daily sales & retention workflow.
- Maintains current records within SalesForce.com in accordance with company policies and expectations.
- Ability to network and expand network of contacts.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 3+ year of experience including:
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Networking and prospecting.
- Negotiating and influencing business decisions.
- Closing skills.
- Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and think independently, and anticipate needs related to future work.
- Experience in healthcare or selling into hospital systems would be a plus.
- Understanding of business, financials, products or services, and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry.
- People skills, including the ability to partner both internally and externally.
- Ability to manage own territory and account and monitor resources accordingly.
- Experience conveying value proposition to clients.
- Persuasive presentation skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management software.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience with SalesForce.com.
- Previous experience with Outreach.io.
- Account Management experience with a cloud based/SaaS solution.
Travel: Some domestic travel required around, 10% for conferences, team meetings, or to visit prospects/customers.
