The Technical Facilities Group consists of four segments: Integration, Operations, Design & Drafting and Logistics.
Collectively, this group is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of all DSS managed properties and their critical systems as well as the tracking, protection and management of assets across all locations. Technical Facilities managed locations provide the physical infrastructure that supports our product ecosystem.

Work closely with Tech facilities' team to build, install, troubleshoot, and maintain critical equipment and infrastructure across DSS managed facilities. Takes the initiative to find the most elegant and efficient solutions to installation problems while completing assigned work within project timelines.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Perform all physical integration and critical data center infrastructure construction activities, from cable fabrication, labeling, installation, cable sorting and cable dress to rack assembly, and equipment (hardware) installation.
- Actively communicates project progress, conflicts, and potential blockers to supervisors and key department contacts as needed to ensure mission critical objectives are met.
- Maintain a high degree of organization within all Data Centers and project work sites, performing site cleanup, reporting on inventory usage, and maintaining Technical Facilities' tools
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- BS in related technical field preferred
- 5+ years of related experience
- High level proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation with the ability to update and maintain accurate documentation across company platforms including Confluence and Google Drive
- Proficiency with all data center testing equipment, including Fluke cable and fiber testers
- Detailed knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and other essential office programs
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with a willingness to learn new processes, policies and procedures
- Skilled in the following termination types: RJ45, BNC, HDBNC, Din, Mini-DIN, RCA
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40+lbs
