About the Position
Dexis Professional Services (Dexis) is seeking a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative services, including managing official correspondence, maintaining schedules and calendars, and supporting senior OUSD(A&S) principals.
The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) leads the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) efforts in research and development, advanced technology, developmental test and evaluation, production, logistics, installation management, military construction, defense procurement, acquisition policy, environmental and nuclear security, chemical and biological matters, operational energy plans and programs, corrosion policy and oversight, human capital initiatives, and small/disadvantaged business management. To support this mission, OUSD(A&S) requires administrative, analytical, and strategic communication support services.
This position is contingent upon contract award and will be based in the Washington, DC metro area.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for OUSD(A&S).
- Maintain assigned Outlook and portal calendars for multiple departments and divisions.
- Monitor due dates, coordinate, and assist in completing official correspondence and documents for signature, including letters, notices, instructions, and memoranda.
- Support assigned fitness reports, performance evaluations, awards, training, personnel, security, and facilities management.
- Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate individuals within the office.
- Assist in completing, tracking, and following up on OUSD Action Packages and Division documents in routing.
- Maintain portal sites, documents, links, libraries, announcements, lists, and contacts on a weekly basis.
- Additional responsibilities may include agenda management, meeting coordination, information and content management, tasker oversight, document control, facilities and personnel management, security operations, travel coordination, customer relations, and general office administration duties.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret facility clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 10 years of executive administrative assistant experience, including three (3) years supporting DASD, ASD, or USD-level leadership (Tier 1, 2, or 3 SES) within DoD or equivalent leadership levels within other federal agencies.
- Proficiency in schedule/calendar management, travel coordination (DTS), and document review/preparation, including read-ahead book development.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external staff.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Positive attitude with the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- High energy, enthusiasm, tact, and ability to interact effectively with senior executives and Pentagon staff.
- Capability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and adaptable to shifting priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.
Dexis pay range for this role:
$95,000—$130,000 USD
