What you’ll do

  • Develop EWIS parts qualification matrices based on Part 23 Certification Requirements. 
  • Definition and documentation of parts and materials selection guidelines.
  • Work with Certification and Engineering teams to ensure appropriate methods of compliance are adhered to.
  • Create Qualification Testing requirements / Test plans / Test Reports.
  • Guide creation of EWIS standard documentation.
  • Support EWIS ICA / airworthiness activities
  • Support testing and FAA conformity activities
  • Work with vendors to ensure compliance to certification requirements; Contribute to the preparation of requests for proposals and statements of work.
  • Collaborate with the certification team to develop integrated aircraft level planning.
  • Support meetings with suppliers; prepare briefing materials, and ensure completion of action items

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of related experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience developing and executing Component qualification plans.
  • Experience in design, analysis, and testing of avionics/electrical systems

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with certification of Part 23 Electrical Wiring Systems
  • Experience with eVTOL, powered-lift, or other special class aircraft
  • Experience working High Voltage

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $151,680- $189,600. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
