The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, is responsible for leading and managing one or more software engineering teams while overseeing the design, development, and implementation of current and future state engineering technologies. The Senior Manager owns the success of their software engineering team's product delivery, quality, and reliability. The Senior Manager serves as the teams' technical leader, representative, and SME while ensuring good collaboration between their engineering teams and other EHP departments.

III. Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for direction, supervision, and coordination of the engineering team for client implementations, upgrades, business driven features, application quality and overall support of delivered products.
- Be a key representative for the team and effectively communicate the design, development, and implementation of software products.
- Oversee the escalation and resolution of high-priority requests to ensure the company’s needs are met professionally and on-time.
- Collaborate with operational owners and leaders to identify new and ongoing enhancements including backlog management and working with Product to build roadmaps.
- Collaborate with architecture, design & data as they develop and continuously improve our internal applications for ingestion, enhancement, modeling, aggregation, and publishing
- Empower team members to identify process improvements, set priorities, and implement best practices and ensuring alignment with PADU.
- Support the implementation of new engineering technology solutions bring ability to make technical decisions as well as dive into the applications.
- Responsibilities for people management including mentoring, coaching, providing clear and achievable goals.
- Effectively handle conflict including finding win/win in situations and avoiding “fanning the flames” and leading by example.
- Ensures products are delivered with full documentation, quality, support plan and monitoring.
- Use an agile mindset to identify, measure, and improve engineering processes including assisting in spring planning and accountability for all deliverables.

- 5+ years of coding experience with .NET Core
- Extensive experience with Azure, Azure CI/CD and Azure DevOps using IaC and Terraform
- Strong REST API Development experience
- Strong Azure Service Bus experience (Queues / Topics / Subscriptions)
- Strong Azure Log Analytics / Azure Monitor experience
- Strong Test Automation experience
- Healthcare experience, highly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working across teams to implement best practices in reliability and observability
- This position pays between $110,600 - $211,950 based on experience
