Position Details

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development and modernization of supply chain technology platforms, optimizing inventory management, logistics, warehouse automation, and reverse logistics. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in supply chain software engineering, warehouse robotics and automation, and modernizing legacy applications through COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) and SaaS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define the supply chain engineering strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy supply chain applications, migrating to COTS, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms to improve scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the development and integration of warehouse robotics and automation systems to enhance fulfillment speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Drive the implementation of logistics and inventory management software, ensuring seamless integration with ERP, WMS, OMS and third-party logistics (3PL) platforms.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and data science teams to optimize demand forecasting, order fulfillment, and reverse logistics processes.
  • Develop and implement real-time tracking, automation, and analytics tools to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Ensure smooth API-driven integration between legacy systems and modern cloud-based supply chain platforms.
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing technical mentorship and driving best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development methodologies.
  • Establish key performance metrics and continuously monitor them to improve system resilience, uptime, and security.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing and modernizing supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management software.
  • Strong technical background in C#/ASP.NET, WebAPI, MVC, microservices architecture, and migrating monolithic systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience integrating and implementing COTS/SaaS solutions for supply chain, inventory, and logistics management.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse robotics and automation technologies, including robotic picking, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and conveyor/sorting systems.
  • Knowledge of AWS, cloud computing, and DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization).
  • Strong experience with real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning for supply chain optimization.
  • Familiarity with RFID, barcode scanning, and automation technologies in logistics.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, sales and finance teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks and API’s
  • Background in AI/ML for demand forecasting.

Compensation

$170,000 - $200,000,  bonus +long term incentive plan

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. Learn more about ecoATM benefits here.

This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
