The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead and transform our Integrations team. The ideal candidate will have experience with API integrations, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, and microservices architecture. This role is a unique opportunity to continue scaling a hypergrowth, industry-leading, fintech startup with an eye towards the future of RPA solutions using AI/ML driven autonomous agents. What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five integration engineers.
  • Drive the hiring process to attract top talent to build the future of integrations using AI enabled autonomous agents.
  • Architect and build resilient and scalable solutions to support automated retrieval and delivery of documents and data between web portals, APIs, email systems, SFTP servers, etc.
  • Set high standards for development and design to ensure scalable, fault-tolerant, maintainable systems.
  • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize projects that deliver value to the business.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, actively contributing ideas for process improvement.


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 in an integrations role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams and managing ICs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Your solutions are designed to be maintainable and observable.
  • You have experience triaging, troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating regular status updates with stakeholders in response to high-priority incidents and requests.
  • You are available for on-call and support escalation during regular business hours and on holidays and weekends, as needed.
  • You are a curious explorer who keeps up to date with the latest technical developments and has a good knowledge of how to build resilient, event-driven systems.


Preferred:

    • Proficiency in Python
    • Current understanding of AI enabled autonomous agents and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, et al.
    • Event-driven, domain-based, microservices architectures using Kafka
    • Shipping SAAS products in a startup environment
    • AWS experience and DevOps practices
    • Postgres or MySQL
