TITLE: Senior Engineer
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES:
Leverage expertise in advanced systems development technologies and cloud management platforms to create and deliver fault-tolerant and highly scalable systems software, X12 protocols, JSON-based REST APIs, frontend presentation layers, and UI/UX interface designs in support of the Pathway, EpicWeb, VPA, Fred, CollectData, Axle projects.
Coordinate full stack development for the backend servers and define communication protocols for the Artificial-Intelligence-as-a-Service (AIaaS) business.
Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies toward the building, iteration, and validation of healthcare product solutions.
Utilize Machine Learning (ML) techniques including Ranking, Classification, Clustering, Regression, and Topic Modeling in cross-functional collaboration with leadership from our Marketing, Sales, Software Engineering, Data Sciences, Product Development, Technical Support, and Solutions Design teams to collect data, define problem statements, and build analytical software models for our ML product development and optimization initiatives.
Define the technical vision, development strategy, and outcome-driven product roadmaps as well as buildout computer systems architecture for scalable SAS products.
Utilize data visualization technologies including Salesforce, SAS Visual Analytics, and MS Visual Studio to design and deliver presentations to illustrate and demonstrate new product, software features, system enhancements, and product capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leverage software design principles and advanced development methodologies including modularity, abstraction, separation of concerns, Test-Driven Development (TDD), microservice architectures, serverless infrastructure to design and deliver software protocols to establish cross-channel transmission of clinical data between independent healthcare systems, such as communicating patient care data between a hospital and health insurance company in support of the review and approval process for prior authorizations.
Apply JavaScript in conjunction with Healthcare Integration Engines including Mirth Development tools toward the creation of systems software mapping transformers and script transformers.
Responsible for creating and building JavaScript tools to configure and transfer systems data from network protocols to predefined Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning database formats.
Develop and deploy Health Level-7 (HL7) Mirth-based interconnectivity systems software solutions and secure communication protocols to automate the transference of clinical and administrative data across multiple healthcare organizations to expedite the processing of prior authorizations.
Understand the requirements for web applications, building automated test suites, responsible for automated testing, integration testing before the product release.Work with Databases to closely monitor data and make necessary updates needed, using DDL, DML, DCL, TCL, DQL commands to perform necessary operations.Work on reporting tool to generate reports periodically for various products in our team.
Work on CICD pipelines to deploy applications during release.
Provide guidance for new teammates to help them with their day-to-day tasks, monitor them, also responsible for assigning work to them and making sure they meet deadlines.
Help with coding standards and mentor team members.
Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in system processes and software design.
Create and modify SQL or LINQ database queries.
Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to design and implement features.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related.
Three (3) years in any occupation with experience designing and developing information systems.Three (3) years in any occupation with experience designing and developing information systems must include: Three (3) years of C# experience.
Three (3) years of experience with Visual Studio. Experience must also include: Full Stack experience in Microsoft Stack, ASP.Net Core 3.1; Restful API; Unit Testing including experience creating tests, running tests, and managing outcomes; UI development experience for client-side consumption; Experience with HIPAA and the importance of privacy of patient data; Designing and planning large scale projects for other engineers; Experience with at least one Electronic Medical Record; Experience with at least one Electronic Document Management System; Artificial Intelligence projects or products; Experience with healthcare interfaces such as HL7, X12, FHIR; and Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud products or similar cloud experience.
TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to Winter Park, FL location. Will work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
