Currently, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Littelfuse R&D Electronics & Embedded Software Engineering team and work on Automotive Sensors.
As a Senior Engineer, you will have the chance to apply your best practices while working with advanced technologies and processes to develop innovative automotive sensor products. You will have the autonomy to plan your work independently and contribute both technical and team management solutions. Additionally, you will engage in new projects with international teams, developing valuable products for globally recognized brands.
About the Job:

Develop and implement the newest embedded software solutions, and manage software change in the automotive sensors area

Process new product requirements, build software specifications

Ensure software creation and implementation according to valid quality standards, improve processes

Perform testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance
-
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and testing processes

Apply best coding practices, tools, and processes, foster an Agile environment
About You:
-
Working experience in product creation and development within an Agile project environment
-
Proficient in writing code in C language and experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, Atmel, Microchip)

Skilled in reading hardware schematics and working with electronics laboratory equipment.

Team player with excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
-
Experience in technical English (written and spoken)

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), TS/ISO 16949, and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) requirements an advantage

Possesses a growth mindset with a "can do" attitude and a keen eagerness to learn new design patterns
