We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with Beckhoff / TwinCAT experience to lead our control systems development efforts and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products. This is a hands-on position where you'll be deeply involved in both high-level architecture decisions and day-to-day implementation of control strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced control systems for our automated material handling solutions
  • Develop and optimize industrial PLC's for control systems
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate control systems with hardware
  • Lead the development of control algorithms for motion control, process control, and system automation
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and technical strategy for control systems
  • Ensure control system performance, reliability, and safety through rigorous testing and validation
  • Participate in all stages of the control system development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance
  • Work closely with the project implementation team to ensure smooth deployment and commissioning of systems at customer sites

Requirements

  • Experience with industrial automation platforms, specifically Beckhoff and TwinCAT.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in controls engineering
  • Expertise in developing control systems for industrial machinery and automation
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for industrial machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
