What You’ll Do
-
Architect and deliver Drupal sites that are fully compliant with standards for design, accessibility, security, and performance.

Write automated tests that support the delivery of quality software.

Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to define, document, and maintain clear and efficient deployment pipelines for Drupal applications.

Ensure the application’s path to production is smooth by managing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, overseeing staging, testing, and production environments, and ensuring smooth rollouts of new features or bug fixes.

Mentor less experienced engineers to level up their skills.

Work directly with stakeholders and team members to set and manage expectations throughout the life of the project.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies (such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives), contributing to the planning and execution of tasks within an iterative development environment.

Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages learning, growth, and the sharing of best practices, helping team members become proficient in solving complex technical challenges and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
-
U.S. citizen or lawful Permanent Resident Aliens (green card) with at least three (3) years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry in the U.S.

All work must be conducted within the U.S.
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust level clearance
-
As a contractor to the federal government, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested
-
7+ years building secure, accessible, responsive web applications
-
5+ years building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, and migrations
Preferred Qualifications
-
Expert command of Drush and Composer
-
A deep understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
-
Experience writing automated tests
-
A general understanding of containerization
-
Familiarity working in and with Cloud technologies like AWS and Acquia
-
Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, and CakePHP
-
Experience building decoupled Drupal solutions
-
A portfolio of work including links to projects with a summary of your role on each

An active account on drupal.org
Professional Skills

Strong oral and written communication skills and the willingness to use them

A strong sense of ownership and engagement
