With more than 200 professionals, our Investment Solutions department is responsible to deliver unique investment insights, meaningful advice, and wealth management solutions that carry top-tier investment performance. In this context, we are looking for a Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager to launch our European Central Portfolio Management unit based in Luxembourg:Mission:
- Launch the European Central Portfolio management unit in line with the framework established in Switzerland and define the processes and policies required to run the operations in full alignment with applicable regulations and Group governance
- Ensure the success of the unit by growing the AuM in its scope and promoting its services towards internal stakeholders, including bankers and portfolio managers in the various jurisdictions it will serve (Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain and the UK in a first stage)
- Maintain excellent lines of communication with Group and run the operations of the unit in line with the established governance for centralised solutions
- Implement Lombard Odier investment committee’s decisions for discretionary portfolios booked in Europe and in other non-Swiss jurisdictions, in accordance with the bank’s discretionary governance, the clients’ preferences, regulatory and tax constraints
- Monitor the deviations of portfolios vs their benchmarks and maintain their alignment on a continuous basis.
- Perform and monitor daily operations on the discretionary portfolio perimeter (corporate actions, cash management, risk management), in collaboration with Client Portfolio Managers
- Contribute to the development of the team activities by providing concrete solutions to improve discretionary management processes (quantitative analyses, automation of investment processes in Python or Vba, internal communication)
- Maintain a high degree of knowledge on financial markets and Lombard Odier investment offering, on traditional and alternative assets and on investment strategy and portfolio management
- Conduct periodic risk reporting on discretionary activities and ad-hoc business reporting
Desired profile:
- University education and/or recognized diploma in Investment
- Experience in discretionary portfolio management (min. 7 years)
- Excellent knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio management
- Excellent knowledge of European regulation on investment services (MIFID)
- Structured and service oriented
- Strong communication and marketing skills, ability to take decisions
- Looking to develop the unit,
- Good knowledge of Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint. Coding skills (Python, Vba) would be an asset.
