The Senior Director of Total Rewards and HR Operations at The Pittsburgh Paints Company (PPC) will be responsible for designing and delivering market-competitive compensation and benefits programs while optimizing HR service delivery. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive innovation in Total Rewards, oversee HR operations, and enhance PPC’s HR technology and processes. This role reports to the CHRO. This is a hybrid position, based in Cranberry Township, PA.

Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy & Execution:
•    Develop and implement a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy covering compensation (base salary, incentives, and equity), benefits, and recognition programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
•    Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of total rewards programs, including cost modeling and “what-if” scenarios, to support executive decision-making.
•    Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory changes in compensation and benefits.
•    Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., Fidelity, Creative Planning, Lockton) to develop innovative and competitive reward solutions.
HR Operations & HRIS Management:
•    Oversee the daily operations of HRIS (UKG), payroll (including time & attendance), Total Rewards, and HR compliance.
•    Serve as a senior advisor on UKG functionality, system enhancements, training, and rollout strategies.
•    Manage payroll operations across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong vendor performance.
•    Lead HRIS reporting and data analysis, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Business Partnership:
•    Collaborate with business leaders to assess and enhance current HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring they remain market-competitive, cost-effective, and internally equitable.
•    Provide strategic guidance on compensation, benefits, and HR operations to executives, managers, and employees.
•    Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
•    Lead, mentor, and develop the Total Rewards & HR Operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
•    Drive HR process improvements through technology and innovation.

Key Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•    10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, and/or HR Operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
•    Proven track record of developing and executing Total Rewards strategies and HR programs.
•    Expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP) and strong data analysis and reporting skills.
•    Experience in M&A transformations, including program integration, costing models, and change management.
•    Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
•    Proven vendor management and negotiation skills, ensuring strong external partnerships.
•    Dynamic leader with the ability to motivate teams and drive business results.
