Job Title:Senior Director, Marketing Operations and Enablement
Role Overview:
The Senior Director, Marketing Operations and Enablement will evolve and modernize the McAfee tech stack and drive efficiency, cohesion and project management across McAfee’s activation, brand and creative services teams. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in driving Marketing Operations by overseeing the end-to-end management of marketing processes—ensuring seamless execution, cross-functional collaboration, and operational efficiency. This role will report into the CMO.
This is a Hybrid position based in The United States. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to either our San Jose, CA, or Frisco, TX, offices. You will be required to come onsite from time to time for meetings to collaborate with executives and other team members. We are only considering candidates who are within a commutable distance to our locations and are not offering relocation at this time.

Martech Enablement

Audit existing analytics and Martech stack against stakeholder needs; recommend shifts/optimizations towards a suite of best in class tools to accelerate marketing efforts

Partner with product and engineering teams to assess system and platform dependencies to select vendors and tools that fit into the McAfee tech ecosystem

Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors, agencies, and production partners in collaboration with Marketing and Sourcing teams

Build an implementation and integration plan that ensures a seamless transition to new technology without interrupting existing campaigns and workflow

Ensure adoption of Martech and organizational systems and tools among the Marketing team to boost productivity and effectiveness, measure impact and continuously assess opportunities for improvement

Act as key POC for Marketing POV on new cross-functional tools such as gen AI copy, data and creative tools, and project, workflow and asset management tools; ensure Marketing team is trained on and incorporating efficiency and productivity tools into all processes and workflows

Outline cross-funnel subscriber flows and touchpoints to build appropriate segment planning strategies across teams and initiatives

Continuously evaluate and refine marketing operations processes to enhance efficiency, agility, and effectiveness; Identify and deploy opportunities for automation, process innovation, and technology enhancements to drive operational excellence

Demonstrate a deep understanding of marketing objectives and calendar, understanding the necessary stages and gates of briefing, strategy, tactical plans, execution, and reporting

Implement governance, tools, and frameworks to improve resource allocation, capacity planning, and cross-functional communication

Work with cross-functional partners to align on project priorities, milestone management, objectives, audiences to influence and interdependent implications

Manage cross-channel marketing campaign deployment, building out timelines, asset delivery plans and monitoring goal accountability
About You:

15+ years of experience leading operational teams with a strong command of marketing channels and planning, Marketing technology, systems and project management

Understanding of the consumer and marketing funnel and the tools and platforms that can integrate and connect attitudinal and behavioral insights to media planning and measurement

Extensive experience managing marketing workflows, creative production, and resource management; can optimize processes to increase speed-to-market, improve cross-functional communication, and drive operational excellence

Experience working directly with creatives and agencies to collaborate on campaigns, managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
-
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries, and present to leadership

Passionate about “process and planning design,” obsessed with understanding how everything works and translating requests and business processes into insights-based frameworks and solutions

Experience leading 360 marketing programs across digital, social, content, print, OOH, and experiential
