What You’ll Do:
The Senior Director of Finance for Infrastructure and Data Center Operations organizations will be a key strategic partner to the entire operations, supply chain, and hardware engineering leadership teams. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of server hardware and DC infrastructure, including FP&A, BOM and supply chain support, DC operations budgeting, DC deal support, and more. The Senior Director will provide critical insights and support to drive governance of all hardware costs and data center investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process for the supply chain and data center operations organizations, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Data Center Operations: Monitor and analyze data center and power roadmap, leading the global data center investment and budgeting plan.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering leadership to develop and implement strategies that support business objectives and enhance financial performance.
- Hardware Costing: Align with supply chain, product, and hardware engineering on all infrastructure rate cards and support all future infrastructure BOM costing.
- Cost Optimization: Partner with DC, Infrastructure, and supply chain leadership to optimize operations and hardware cost across the portfolio.
- Deal negotiation: Partner with corporate development and operations on data center and power investments.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product, capacity planning, and sales, to support overall business goals.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the technology or AI sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $225,000-$265,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
