Job Description:
The main responsibilities are covering the following areas:
- Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with North America Commercial leaders and the Sr Global HRBP Lead for Global R&D to develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic HR leadership to US Medical affairs, V&A, US Corporate Affairs, US BE and US Finance and is accountable to develop and execute HR strategies to achieve and maintain high levels of employee engagement and a performance-driven culture.
- Sit on North America HR Leadership Team as a key strategic business partner driving the talent agenda in an aligned and clear approach.
- Collaborate with Global HRBP Lead for Finance to set up and implement the People strategy for the entire global finance function.
- Operational HR Partnership*:
- Operate with a bias for action, raising issues and bring recommended solutions, partner with senior leaders in a clear way, simple and user friendly.
- Build strong relationships with sponsors and other key stakeholders across the business who support and lead change efforts.
- Funnel appropriate messages and communications to drive clear priorities and meet project timelines.
- Proactively identify pain points and areas that require improvement and bring stakeholders together to bring improvements to life.
- Work with HR North America network and People, Organization & Capabilities on training initiatives that span across Global R&D campuses including help in conducting workshops and focus groups.
- Monitor delivery and ensure consistency of North America dashboards and KPIs across supported North America functions.
(*): For all NA commercial employees belonging to the function listed above, and also for all NA employee in Global Legal, and Global Medical Affairs. For Global Finance, the role is not limited to NA employees.
- Talent Management: Lead talent management initiatives including talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention strategies for the supported NA Commercial functions and Global Finance functions. Directly prepares Leaders for management meetings (e.g. talent reviews, performance calibration, town halls etc.).
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for NA Commercial supported functions.
- Organizational Development:
- Drive organizational design and change management initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the NA Commercial including US Finance and US BE (verticalized functions) functions supported.
- Work with leadership to enable transformation; assessing the people and capabilities and ensure proper resource allocation, up skill where needed
- Compensation and Benefits: Advise on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent and promote equity.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies for NA supported functions.
HR Projects: Participate in global / NA Commercial and Global Finance HR projects and initiatives.
The annual base salary range for this position is $218,000 - $310,000.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
