JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Global Marketing to join our Neuromodulation Division. This pivotal role will report directly to the Divisional Vice President of Marketing and will lead a team responsible for defining and executing the future strategy, portfolio, and associated development programs. The successful candidate will build capability across the organization and will lead teams across Strategy, Analytics, Product Marketing, Marketing Research, and Marketing Operations to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

•              Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

•              Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to define and execute the long-term strategy for the Neuromodulation Division.

•              Portfolio Management: Oversee the development and management of the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.

•              Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of innovative neuromodulation products.

•              Business Development: Drive business development deals and partnerships to expand market reach and enhance the product portfolio.

•              Market Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to assess markets, inform strategic decisions, identify market opportunities, and optimize marketing efforts.

•              Clinical Marketing: Develop and execute clinical marketing strategies to support product adoption and demonstrate clinical efficacy.

•              Marketing Research: Build in-house market research capabilities and lead initiatives to gather insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.

•              Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with other areas of the organization to implement changes based on market feedback. Work closely with R&D, Sales, Regulatory, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.

•              Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare departmental forecasts and budgets. Monitor new product introductions for volume, revenue, and cost against forecasts, and collaborate with Commercial teams to adapt plans to improve sales performance.

Experience and Capabilities:

•Educational Background:  MBA; demonstrated learning agility within roles

•Industry Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the medical device or healthcare industry.  Preferred progression responsibilities across brand marketing, product marketing, and upstream (strategy development, upstream, and inorganic)
  • Strong background in medical device marketing strategy, and leading teams such as analytics, L&A, and clinical marketing

•              Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of building high-performing teams.

•              Results-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving results and driving performance.  Demonstrated achievement growing brand, categories, and new customer acquisition.

•            Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and innovation.

•              Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.

•              Product Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of product marketing, from development through commercialization.

•              Clinical Marketing Knowledge: Experience in developing and executing clinical marketing strategies.

•              Business Development: Experience in driving business development deals and partnerships

•              Brand Building: Proven experience in building successful brands and driving brand strategy.

•              Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.  Must be an effective storyteller.

•              Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of diverse markets and cultures.

     

The base pay for this position is

$184,000.00 – $368,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
