Your Role: Senior Director of Finance
The Senior Director of Finance will play a critical role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization. This individual will lead and support finance transformation initiatives, influence financial leadership team (FLT) decisions, spearhead projects to improve operating margins, develop a forward-looking IT roadmap for Finance, and present to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a strong drive for results, and the ability to influence at all levels.
Your Responsibilities:
- Productivity Enhancement: Identify and implement key productivity measures across the organization, focusing on cost optimization and efficient resource allocation. Track progress on key metrics. Lead/support organization-wide projects focused on optimizing gross margins and operating margins.
- Finance Transformation: Lead and support finance transformation initiatives to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Influence Strategic Direction: Actively participate in Financial Leadership Team discussions, providing insights and recommendations on key financial matters, ensuring alignment across finance functions. Lead and support special projects as assigned.
- Modernize Finance Technology: Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap for finance, leveraging technology for increased efficiency, automation, and data-driven insights.
- Communicate Financial Insights: Present key financial results, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing finance transformation initiatives and proven ability to strategically influence across an organization utilizing excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- CPA or MBA preferred.
