We're seeking an accomplished Senior Director, Business Operations to lead three critical functions that form the backbone of Velocity Global's operational infrastructure. As both a strategic visionary and hands-on executor, you will design and implement scalable, high-impact processes and automation solutions that drive operational excellence. Your expertise will help build the rigorous operational frameworks necessary for sustainable growth across complex systems, while ensuring a seamless and efficient operational environment.

This role is a unique combination of:

  • Process Excellence: Build and optimize processes that enable operational scalability, efficiency, and integration across the organization.
  • System Ownership: Own our core workflow management and support system driving effective and efficient information capture and management - both for execution and reporting
  • Strategic Operations: Serve as an internal consulting partner to the COO, driving critical cross-functional initiatives, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting to the VP of Business Operations, you'll lead a high-performance team of 8 to 10 members focused on scaling Velocity Global's operations with a focus on rigorous, process-driven solutions. This remote position is based in the United States.

You Will:

  • Design, standardize, and implement flexible and scalable operational processes that evolve with business growth, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all functions.
  • Lead the optimization of core operational systems (e.g., DevRev) to enhance functionality, improve integration, and increase system performance.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of automation solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Standardize operational processes across global teams, focusing on operational excellence and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with the COO and operational leadership to identify and address complex operational challenges, acting as an internal consulting function to drive strategic improvements.
  • Conduct in-depth, data-driven analysis of operational gaps and inefficiencies, providing and executing actionable recommendations that foster scalable improvements.
  • Lead strategically significant initiatives, driving them from conception to execution with a focus on long-term scalability and operational excellence.

You Have:

  • Proven experience in scaling operational processes across complex systems, with a strong focus on designing flexible, data-driven, and automation-enhanced workflows.
  • Expertise in building and optimizing core operational systems, with a track record of driving system integrations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement rigorous operational frameworks that support growth, scalability, and operational excellence across functions and regions.
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations for complex operational challenges.
  • Minimum 10 years experience leading teams to execute scalable solutions, build efficient systems, and drive continuous process improvement.
