Job Description

EWI is looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager to manage day-to-day responsibilities for the smooth and effective running of technology driven projects with a focus on great delivery. Ideal candidate is an organized, detail oriented, efficient and charismatic individual, who has the expertise and passion to lead a team of highly technical, creative and strategic professionals.

Candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex digital projects under high-pressure situations. Successful projects should include experiential physical-interactive installations (temporary or permanent ‘experiential marketing’ or “one of a kind” installations), mobile and or tablet-based applications, complex and integrated marketing campaigns and social media campaigns. You are a leader, collaborator and mentor with a big heart who inspires your team with your problem solving skills and a positive attitude. 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOW), conduct service provider reviews and seek sign off on SOW from internal review board and clients.
  • Scope, plan and manage multiple interactive projects from concept to completion.
  • Create project work breakdown structure (WBS), project and resource plan (Gantt charts), manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks and issues to deliver projects on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Plans for and acquires appropriately skilled project resources to complete assigned tasks.
  • Work with account management, creative, strategy, engineering, and production teams to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of all legal documentation pertaining to clients and partners (e.g. Non-disclosures, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, Change Order Requests, etc.), ensures all project documentation is produced according to internal documentation processes for approval, and is reviewed and approved by Director of Digital Production or EWI Account team prior to delivery to the client.
  • Act as point of contact and manage all team, stakeholder, vendor and client communications and expectations; ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track and report project progress and status to senior management.
  • Work with our technical team to choose “best of breed” technology solutions.
  • Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions.
  • Document business requirements and collaborate with engineering and creative teams to document functional & technical requirements (working alongside our Technical Director).
  • Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the change control process.
  • Communicate quantifiable project status (actuals and forecasts) on a regular basis.
  • Manage and monitor project/account budgets; work with the finance team to report revenue forecasting; manage purchase order and invoice process.
  • Assure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget.
  • Partner with EWI account, strategy and business development teams to create and execute on an account plan to achieve client's business goals and to close any new revenue opportunities.
  • Complete post launch evaluations against success criteria to determine how well the project went and document lessons learned.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in digital production/development and project management are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project team, lead by example, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role.
  • Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, CMS, and mobile.
  • Experience in using project management tools such Microsoft Project (OmniPlan, Smart Sheets), Google suite and other team-based communication tools (Slack, MS Teams, Basecamp, etc.).
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in managing the delivery of digital projects with a true appreciation and curiosity for innovations that can be applied to digital experiences.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
  • Experience in a project management methodology including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
  • Experience and being comfortable interfacing with clients; interactive agency experience preferred.
  • Team building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including junior to senior level staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be incredibly detail oriented, demonstrate extreme thoroughness, and have the ability to easily multi-task.
  • Solid track record of delivery within fast paced environments while handling it all with a calm demeanor.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with high profile automotive brands
  • Experience working on one-of-a-kind digital experiences, touchscreen software solutions, tablet-based software solutions, mobile application projects, e-commerce, and social media. Background in applications development is a plus.
  • Managing overall coordination of digital applications development projects; from planning through implementation.
  • Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
  • Understanding user interface design & Information Architecture best practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PMI standards and PMP certification is a plus.
