About The Job
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer is embedded in a multidisciplinary implementation team. This team is tasked with creating and deploying solutions under tight time frames. The ideal candidate will be a battle hardened DevSecOps or site reliability engineer. They will be flexible and willing to learn. They will gain comprehensive expertise in all aspects of the team's roles, facilitating seamless integration and collaboration.
As key team members, the Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for tactical delivery, meticulously managing resources against timelines, and skillfully tasking team members to ensure the successful attainment of project goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the platform engineering team.
- Contribute to the architecture development and implementation of resilient, scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.
- Expand and enhance our DevSecOps capabilities to improve the development lifecycle.
- Work on improving both developer and user efficiency through automation and optimized processes.
What We Look For
- 3-5 years experience with microservices orchestration, and cloud platforms
- 3-5 years experience with cybersecurity such as hardening systems and security/information assurance compliance regimes
- 5-7 years experience in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
- 5-7 years experience working with CI/CD techniques using version control, DevOps technology and automated configuration management
What Tech You'll Use
- Kubernetes, Docker, Cri-O, Containerd, or other container technologies
- Major programming or scripting languages
- Istio, Linkerd, Consul, or other service mesh
- Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
- AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud technologies
Specific Job Needs
- Located in one of the following locations: Austin, Grand Rapids, San Antonio, San Diego, Raleigh, Washington DC
- Top Secret level clearance required
- Willing to travel up to 30%
- Expected base salary of $150,000 - $180,000
