About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevRel Engineer to lead Fluidstack's engagement with the AI/ML community. This role is critical for driving adoption of our AI platform by building trust with top AI research labs, fostering strategic partnerships with, and ensuring our product strategy stays competitive in a fast-evolving market.
In this role, you'll leverage your deep technical expertise and communication skills to represent Fluidstack in developer communities, at events, and across social media platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to shape Fluidstack's technical voice and brand identity, ensuring that it resonates with our audience.

Continue to further Fluidstack's authoritative voice in the AI infrastructure space, leveraging your expertise to cultivate trust and credibility among senior engineers, founders, and CTOs.

Enhance Fluidstack's understanding of industry challenges, leading on innovative solutions and ultimately influencing key decision-makers and shaping market trends.

Act as a liaison between clients and internal engineering teams to gather feedback on pain points and emerging needs. Develop proof-of-concept implementations to validate customer feedback and demonstrate product capabilities, influencing Fluidstack's product roadmap based on real-world insights.

Establish a structured feedback loop to prioritise feature requests and address pain points effectively, ensuring continuous improvement of our offerings.

Build and foster strategic partnerships, leading initiatives for co-marketing and collaborative projects that enhance Fluidstack's visibility and impact.

Work closely with sales and marketing to shape Fluidstack's technical voice and tone to ensure it resonates with the appropriate audience and that information is delivered in the most efficient and effective way.

Stay informed about advancements in AI/ML frameworks, cloud infrastructure, storage systems, networking technologies, and emerging developer needs.
A Great Candidate Will Have:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical audiences and commercial stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.

Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with scalable infrastructure.

Experience working across all layers of infrastructure: storage (e.g., FDE), networking, systems architecture, and high-performance computing environments.

Proven experience creating high-quality technical content such as blogs, documentation, videos, or conference talks.

Experience with technical assets such as SDKs, APIs, and sample applications.

A customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify pain points and propose actionable solutions that align with business goals.
An Exceptional Candidate Will Have:

Prior experience in Developer Relations or technical advocacy roles.

Contributions to open-source projects or active engagement in developer communities.

Established relationships within the AI/ML ecosystem or familiarity with key players.

Experience working directly with CTOs or Heads of Engineering to solve complex infrastructure challenges or shape product roadmaps.

A strong personal brand within the developer community.
Interview Process
If your application passes the screening stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute screening call. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of three 45 minute interviews: a technical deep dive, customer communications and culture fit interview.
Our goal is to finish the main process within one week. All interviews will be conducted virtually.
