Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, independent and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a critical role in enhancing our technological capabilities, owning production environments, and enabling R&D velocity and efficiency.You will collaborate with all team members (we’re a united team that enjoys working together and we look for someone that will fit right in !), fostering a supportive environment to drive our talented engineers while maintaining the big-picture perspective on our technological roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architecture solutions.
- Transform high-level projects and concepts into actionable tasks and DevOps roadmaps.
- Own and ensure the uptime and availability of production environments.
- Enhance R&D efficiency by collaborating closely with development teams
- Set up and maintain monitoring and observability best practices (we’re big fans of Observability !)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement and manage SDLC processes, including Git methodologies, repos and branching best practices.
- Optimize production environments for cost efficiency.
- Provide support to developers and act as a technical resource, take a leading part in tech designs of new cloud architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- You are a fast learner, jack of all trades, feel comfortable in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. You can break down complex problems into steps and plot clearly how to get from A to Z while having the ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture.
- At least 4-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in 2-3 different terms, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, serverless technologies, CDNs, pub/sub systems, load balancers, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS - preferably GCP)
- Highly experienced in managing production environments and ensuring uptime.
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and pipeline development, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, Git methodologies, and branching best practices.
- Experience with monorepos and library management.
- Skilled in setting up monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash and Linux
Bonus
- Familiarity with HashiCorp tools
- Experienced with various Databases such as PostgreSQL, Atlas MongoDB, Pinecone, Elasticsearch, BigQuery
