We are on the look out for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Light and Wonder Spark team!
Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab & Bamboo, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of software products.

Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
-
Work with AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale infrastructure in the cloud.
-
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and automating application deployment, scaling, and operations.
-
Collaborate with development teams to streamline integration and deployment processes.
-
Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus and other monitoring tools.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application functionality.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure as well as controlled releases.

Collaborate with the rest of the team on the investigation and implementation of new features and processes on the CI/CD pipeline.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
-
Strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo.
-
Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker.
-
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
-
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
-
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus for system and application monitoring.
-
Scripting and automation skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
-
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, and Kubernetes Certified Administrator.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and build systems.
-
Knowledge of best practices for security and compliance in a DevOps environment.
