We are on the look out for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Light and Wonder Spark team!

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab & Bamboo, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of software products.

• Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

• Work with AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale infrastructure in the cloud.

• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and automating application deployment, scaling, and operations.

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline integration and deployment processes.

• Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus and other monitoring tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure as well as controlled releases.

• Collaborate with the rest of the team on the investigation and implementation of new features and processes on the CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• Strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo.

• Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus for system and application monitoring.

• Scripting and automation skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, and Kubernetes Certified Administrator.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

• Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and build systems.

• Knowledge of best practices for security and compliance in a DevOps environment.
