Who We're Looking For:
We are on the lookout for seasoned and highly proficient Senior DevOps/CloudOps Engineer with expertise in architectural design, distributed systems, and cutting-edge cloud infrastructure management. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to design and scale high-throughput, low-latency platforms and infrastructure. Our relevant infrastructure and CI/CD stack encompasses AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, AWS Codepipeline, Datagod, though we welcome expertise beyond our current stack. Additionally, we are deeply committed to our "you build it, you run it" principle, ensuring that our engineers take full ownership of their projects from development through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- Help establish and lead the EasyGo Performance Engineering team, defining best cloud ops practices, policies, and fostering a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
- Architect and design highly scalable, high-performance distributed architecture and robust cloud infrastructure
- Conduct capacity planning and performance forecasting to accommodate future growth and demand, making informed decisions based on usage patterns and trends.
- Continuously monitor and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies to enhance overall system performance. Conduct proactive capacity planning and performance forecasting to accommodate future growth.
- Create and deploy automation tools and scripts that integrate and enhance the existing CI/CD. Streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and enhance system efficiency through automation.
- Offer technical leadership by guiding and mentoring other engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and adherence to best practices across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 9 years as a CloudOps/DevOps Architect, Engineer or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and large-scale system reliability.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- CI/CD Automation: Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using industry best practices and tools such as ArgoCD, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
