Job Description
As a software engineering manager in Trading Technology, you will join the POMS team and operate as a development lead bringing together several teams in order to help build the firm's strategic order management and ticketing platform. This next generation of our internal platform aims to streamline divergent trading processes and further decouple the firm from external dependencies. Our objectives are to improve the operational efficiency and reduce the operational risk of our trading processes through better tools and automation. You will work closely with the business and other teams to design and implement solutions that have immediate impact to the business and help us build towards our strategic vision.
Requirements

10+ years of professional experience working in asset management / hedge funds, investment banking or financial services institutions

Highly commercial with an understanding of the need to deliver incremental value while iterating towards strategic goals

Experience designing and successfully implementing enterprise-grade technology systems

Experience building and leading a team of engineers whilst operating collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Strong software development skills (problem decomposition, design, implementation, testing)

Expertise in Java with experience in Spring, Unix, SQL, AMPS, Kafka, AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, FIX

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
