Job Description:
The Revenue Integrity- Advanced Cloud Engineering seeking a Senior Developer Analyst with expertise in big data analysis, dashboard development, and managed healthcare, particularly in Healthcare Risk adjustment. This role requires a highly analytical and technical professional who can lead complex data analysis efforts, perform root cause analysis, ensure reporting accuracy, and drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS along with proven dashboard development, SQL, Python, and PySpark skills, a keen eye for detail, and deliver high-quality results within tight timelines. Knowledge or experience with machine learning, data modeling, LLMs, Databricks, and Amazon Sagemaker is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting solutions using AWS QuickSight.
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of large-scale healthcare data, identifying trends and actionable insights.
- Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot data discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
- Audit and verify the accuracy of reporting against source data to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to assess patterns and anomalies.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Develop and implement scalable Python/PySpark-based data processing solutions for big data environments.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings to support knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis, reporting accuracy, and data validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Expertise in AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI for developing advanced dashboards.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly with AWS services like S3, Glue, and Athena.
- Strong expertise in SQL for managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and advanced analytics.
- Experience working with big data technologies and cloud-based data solutions (AWS preferred).
- Deep understanding of managed healthcare, particularly risk adjustment methodologies.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis to diagnose data issues and improve reporting accuracy.
- Proven attention to detail in handling and interpreting large datasets.
- Ability to lead projects in an Agile environment and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and familiarity with tools like Rally or Jira.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading data strategy and analytics initiatives in healthcare.
- Experience with big data technologies and ETL processes.
- Hands-on-experience with machine learning techniques, data modeling, LLMs, Databricks, and Amazon Sagemaker.
- Managed Healthcare experience or knowledge of health insurance concepts, preferably Risk adjustment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
