Senior Desktop Engineer - EUC

Job Introduction:

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer – EUC to join our team. As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development of technology solutions related to end user computing, including but not limited to desktop operating systems (Windows/Mac), modern device management, cloud managed systems, application packaging systems, as well as device hardening policies in accordance with CIS benchmarks.

Who we are looking for:

Innovative individuals with proven experience working as a Senior Desktop Engineer - EUC or in a similar role. Who are passionate and knowledgeable of designing, deployment, and management of desktop infrastructure solutions that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide escalated technical support and guidance to resolve complex desktop-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of desktop configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Deploy new operating system and software to all current systems, assisting with support level escalations (3rd level support).
  • Migrating operating systems from on prem deployment methodology to cloud auto pilot and Intune methodology.

Technical Tools: Specific experience in application packaging and deployment via centralized solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune). Windows OS, M365, Azure experience required. Scripting, packaging and deployment and group policy knowledge. Bachelor’s level in engineering or computer science or other relevant qualification/experience is required.
