Our design systems team plays a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences that bring these technologies to life.

As a Senior Design Systems Designer at LivaNova, you will support our design systems team responsible for the themes, components, icons and Figma tools that are used by designers and engineers across LivaNova. You will work closely with other system designers, product designers, design engineers, and design leadership to deliver scalable solutions that streamline product development and improve patient outcomes. This includes helping product designers evolve vertical-specific component libraries, creating high-level pattern guidance, and partnering on strategic projects like net new features and upleveling our visual design. This role would work closely with both product designers and design system designers, translating between product specific needs and the shared core system. This role is remote.

• Help evolve the visual design language of our apps, extending LivaNova’s brand.

• Guide product designers to use the design system to the fullest extent, leveraging existing patterns and extending them when necessary.

• Partner with product designers on strategic projects, like net new features and redesigns, and elevate their designs with solid visual design and systems thinking.

• You are a Senior designer with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• You are a role model for visual design quality and design systems development.

• You are able to navigate, define and drive highly complex product architecture system changes.

• You enjoy making sure everything is pixel perfect.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in conceptualizing, defining, and creating product design languages and systems

• Experience working across complex systems or in safety and quality regulated environments such as healthcare and banking

Compensation:

• The target hourly rate for this position will range from $60/hr - $80/hr. Pay rate will be awarded based on experience.

Travel:

• Occasional travel may be required ( 20%)
