The Opportunity

As our first dedicated Demand Generation hire, you'll build and own our demand gen engine from the ground up. This is a career-defining opportunity to shape strategy, implement tactics, and directly impact company growth. You'll have full ownership, substantial resources, and executive support to drive measurable pipeline creation.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy to create a predictable flow of qualified leads for our revenue organization

  • Establish our demand gen infrastructure, including performance marketing tooling, lead scoring, and attribution models

  • Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns leveraging content marketing, webinars, events, email nurture programs, and digital advertising

  • Partner with product marketing to craft compelling messaging that resonates with technical decision-makers

  • Build analytical frameworks to measure campaign performance, lead quality, and pipeline impact

  • Collaborate with revenue to optimize lead handoff processes and ensure pipeline momentum

  • Test, learn, and iterate rapidly to continually improve conversion rates and ROI

  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in the PostgreSQL ecosystem

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience, with at least 3 years focused on developer tools, databases, or cloud infrastructure

  • Proven track record of building demand gen programs that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue results

  • Deep understanding of the technical buyer's journey and experience marketing to developers/DBAs

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to optimize campaign performance

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital advertising tools

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute multiple campaigns simultaneously

  • Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution capabilities

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
