CACI is seeking a talented Senior Database Engineer to join our elite team in Linthicum, Maryland. Be part of the cutting-edge NINJA HIGHWAY program, where you'll play a crucial role in fortifying U.S. intelligence and national security systems.
The Opportunity:
Join our innovative team in transforming system security for the Secure the Enterprise initiative.
- You'll lead the charge in automating and streamlining our security processes.
- Spearhead the transition from manual to automated system security evaluation and authorization.
- You'll develop cutting-edge capabilities emphasizing automation, efficiency, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive data gathering throughout project lifecycles
Work Environment: Enjoy a flexible work arrangement (as mission requirement permits) with up to 2 days/week telework after an initial on-site period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on database design, development, and implementation
- Develop and maintain database structures aligned with overall system architecture
- Create innovative workflows to optimize existing processes
- Lead development of database structures, parsers, and loaders
- Support Python-based ReST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask
- Manage data models for MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 5 years additional equivalent DBE experience)
- 10+ years of Database Engineering experience on similar projects
- Proficiency in Python, MongoDB/MariaDB, Django/Flask
- Experience with ReST endpoints and microservices
Desired:
- Familiarity with Swagger, AWS/C2S, Docker, and Visual Studio Code
- Experience with JSON/XML serialization, Jira, Confluence, and Git
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$119,800 - $263,600
