We’re just getting started. Sprinter is becoming the go-to infrastructure for in-home care, powered by smart logistics, modern clinical operations, and data-driven insights. Now, we’re looking for an early Data Science leader to help scale this foundation even further.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing Data team. This is a 0→1 opportunity to apply your skills to real-world healthcare and logistics challenges—where every insight can have a direct impact on people's lives.

What You’ll Work On
You’ll tackle questions like:
⚖️ Balancing clinician supply and patient demand in every region
🤔 Understanding what drives patient engagement for preventive care
🚗 Improving clinician routing simulations by analyzing real-world outcomes
🕚 Reducing last-minute cancellations and reschedules
🔮 Predicting future patient needs and health risks from clinical and behavioral data
What You’ll Own
🧠 50% – Deep, independent exploration of operations, patient behavior, population health, and growth strategy
📈 40% – Supporting internal teams, customer data needs, and ad hoc analysis
🎯 10% – A/B experiment design, rollout, and analysis
You’ll be one of the founding members of Sprinter’s Data org—setting the standards, tooling, and best practices that the rest of the team will grow around.
What You Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics
Strong business intuition and strategic thinking
Skilled at exploring complex, messy datasets and surfacing actionable insights
Deep experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Superset, Grafana)
SQL mastery across warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
Bonus Points For
Experience with:
Pandas, Python, Scikit-learn
ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
GCP data infrastructure (BigQuery, DataForm, DataFlow)
Healthcare data (claims, HIEs, CCDAs)
Operations optimization (routing, distributed logistics)
Growth experimentation and rapid iteration
Communicating findings to C-level audiences
Interest in eventually mentoring and building a team

💰 Salary Range: $160,000 – $200,000 per year, depending on experience
