Meet the team:

We are currently on the search for a Senior Data Scientist!

The product development analytics team collaborates with various design teams, including firmware, hardware, algorithm, sensor/membrane, and mechanical engineers to quantify and model the factors that influence product performance and reliability of on-market health sensing platforms.

• You like to work in close collaboration with team partners such as product owners, project managers, designers and other team members

• You love transforming a mixture of structure and unstructured data into actionable data insights and data tables

• You enjoy building new analytic tools to quantify, visualize, and structure various data sources

• You have a passion for building statistical models that improve understanding

What makes you successful:

• You have 5 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems

• You have a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering or a related quantitative field

• You have direct experience in deriving insights from health sensing time series data

• You have excellent communication skills for interfacing with peers in internal/external departments

• You have advanced knowledge of SQL and statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, R).

• You have direct experience handling and querying datasets and databases of various sizes and degrees of cleanliness

• You have a deep under of statistical analysis and methods

• You can independently manage and consult with stakeholders in complex projects to define success criteria and timelines

Experience and Education:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience. 

Travel Required:

• 0-5%

​Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

Salary:

$116,600.00 - $194,400.00
