General Summary

Our enterprise-wide data science team is searching for an experienced data scientist passionate about addressing business needs through data analysis and creating data-driven solutions.
In this role, you will work on a highly collaborative, centralized team of data scientists, engineers, and strategists to deliver analytical insights and data products that drive value and impact for our crucial business needs. You’ll work closely with internal partners across commercial, medical, clinical, and general administrative areas to develop creative solutions (including GenAI) that contribute meaningfully to our business and help us deliver for our patients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and deploy data science solutions for highest priority business problems using provider and patient-level data
- Create and deliver compelling data visualizations and outputs to communicate findings to technical collaborators, non-technical audiences, including business leaders
- Strong commitment to ethics and compliance in data handling and analysis
Required Knowledge and Skills
- At least one year of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ideally with a focus on building data pipelines / products and analyzing large datasets
- High proficiency in Python, SQL & version control
- Experience with cloud data environments like Snowflake, Databricks etc.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
- Excellent communication skills, experience in presenting findings to non-technical audiences and working with stakeholders to translate business questions to analytically actionable questions
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering and familiarity with creating LLM-based solutions and architectures such as retrieval-augmented generation
- Experience working with real world and health datasets (EHR, Clarivate DRG, IQVIA) and patient demographics data
- Experience in implementing data-driven solutions within a Commercial context, with a focus on marketing and business applications

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
