Job Description
To strengthen our Client Deliverables Department in Nootdorp (The Netherlands) we are looking for a new colleague to join as Senior Data Processor. The role will be based in Nootdorp, Netherlands. Consideration will also be given to fully or hybrid offshore position.
The Client Deliverables Department is responsible for the processing, interpretation, reporting and QC of the bathymetrical and geophysical data acquired during our offshore wind survey campaigns.
Your role
-
You ensure high quality processing of bathymetric and positioning data in accordance to Fugro best practices;

You Monitor quality of the project implementation, identifying risks and informing Project Managers accordingly;

You propose recommendations for improvements in processes for data collection and data processing;

You act as focal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding data processing aspects and progress of projects.
Your track record
-
You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Hydrography/Geomatics or related subject and previous experience in a similar role;

You are familiar with company specific acquisition and processing software (e.g. Starfix, Caris, QPS packages, EIVA) and have the ability to adapt quickly to new packages;

You have previous knowledge on offshore surveys is preferred but not mandatory;

You attend vessel briefing with the offshore teams and are responsible for necessary inter-departmental pre- and post-project meetings;

You have strong interpersonal skills, communicate effectively with the many nationalities within the department team and have excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written);

You are analytical, accurate, have a flexible attitude with the ability to maintain appropriate quality standards.
