DUTIES:
- Act as principal contributor in obtaining business and technical requirements, GAP analysis, technical design, development, and documentation of information systems using data transformation techniques to move the data between systems.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications, design models, and system work flows from which software applications will be developed and implemented.
- Provide leadership and facilitation in the definition and development of the technical solution concept, including vision, scope, and system architecture.
- Serve as part of Production Support, responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on identified issues.
- Support Business on data comparison per Business request.
- Translate technical business goals and requirements into designs utilizing best practice design patterns.
- Support deployments or upgrades to production systems as needed after hours and on-call to avoid system downtime during business hours.
- Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
- Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.
- No additional national or international travel is anticipated.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Developing ETL(Extract, transform and Load) jobs to extract data from heterogeneous sources, applying transformation logics to extracted data, and loading into Reporting Databases; (2) Using PL/SQL programming to develop stored procedures & functions to support the extracts/reports by retrieving the data from the data warehousing application; (3) Developing UNIX shell scripts to automate the processes and perform day-to-day activities; (4) Developing and testing Data extracts/Submission reports using ETL tools including Informatica and Python; (5) Designing and developing ETL/DB components in an agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach; and (6) Designing data structure using understanding of regulatory and Business intelligence and reporting requirements.

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
PAY RANGE: $133,973.00 to $158,100.00 per year
