Gogo Business Aviation is seeking its newest Senior Data Structure Engineer! It’s an exciting time at Gogo Business Aviation to be part of the team responsible for the delivery of data centers, corporate offices and 5G network build out. Do you have what it takes to think outside the box, create the box and then crush the box? If so, we’re looking for our newest team member to lead and manage our data center, lab and corporate infrastructure team.

COME ON BOARD THE GOGO BUSINESS AVIATION NETWORK ENGINEERING TEAM!

How will you make a difference?

  • Manage Gogo’s network infrastructure including corporate offices, data centers and offsite testing facilities
  • Responsible for Layer 1 plant including power, HVAC and Fiber/Ethernet infrastructure
  • Asset tracking and logistics
  • Back office administration, procurement with ERP systems
  • Manage inventory and vendor relationships
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports
  • Participate in annual budget and forecasting

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years working with in AC/DC power systems, maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to lift network equipment ~50lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically
  • Flexibility to work off hours as required

Required Skills, Talents & Experience

  • Experience working with and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • Experience with Ethernet and fiber connectivity
  • Experience managing external vendors and contracts
  • Knowledge of telecommunication services (MPLS, Internet, DWDM, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work cross functionally to meet a common goal
  • Team player with the aptitude and drive to learn new skills and technologies
  • Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines under minimal supervision

Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience

  • Certified electrician preferred
  • Experience working in data center environments
  • Experience with Panduit cabling systems or equivalent

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

108,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
