Job Description
As a Senior Data Analyst at JCI, you will play a critical role in generating insights from complex data sets to support business decisions. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
How you will do it:
- Design and implement data models and analytical solutions to derive insights from large datasets.
- Utilize SQL and other programming languages to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools to communicate findings effectively.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to drive business strategies.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular audits and validation checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from management and other departments.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
