We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role involves delivering data-driven insights to support business decisions in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both large and small tasks, and can help scale solutions as the company grows, while advancing your own career.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

Consultative Leadership: Spearhead initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders, employing a consultative approach to distil complex requirements into robust data / analytics approaches.

Data Mastery: A trusted data expert, knowing what data is available, and which analytical technique is most relevant, ranging from tableau dashboards through to segmentations and root cause analysis

Impact Driven: Passionate about impact, whether unpacking the why, delivering optimal customer intelligence data products or delivering powerful insights empowering the organisation to be data driven

Insightful Storytelling: Comfortable in “storytelling” and visualisation, delivering insights and recommendations in a clear, relevant and action-oriented manner to senior members of the organisation

Technical Project Leadership: Taking ownership of the more complex projects, comfortable with ensuring right first time outputs on time employing best practice principles. Oversee these from inception to completion with minimal oversight.

Talent Development: Actively coach and mentor more junior data analysts. Foster a culture of innovation, best practices, and peer-review within the team.

4+ years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst with advanced SQL and Python skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of curiosity.

Expertise in advanced analytics techniques such as modelling and segmentation.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences.

Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and collaborative team settings.

Passionate about making a difference and delivering value from data

Comfortable with ambiguity, and high levels of empowerment

Wanting to be part of a growth culture
It would be great if you had:
-
Proven experience as a senior data analyst, most likely 4+ years
-
Experience in the retail energy industry, ideally supporting a commercial or finance function
-
Extensive experience of modelling retail customers and complex business processes

Excellent problem solving skills and high levels of curiosity

Advanced SQL and python knowledge.

Experienced with advanced analytics techniques including modelling, and segmentation

Strong experience with visualisation tools, preferably Tableau
-
Experienced working with cloud platforms, to build data pipelines, ideally DataBricks
-
Experience with Git, or similar, using branches and pull requests for collaborative development
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage non-technical audiences

Thrives in environments with high levels of empowerment that are fast paced

Amazing team player focused on collaboration and communication
-
Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, e.g statistics, mathematics etc.

Location – London (E.ON Next, 47-53 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 6PB) with travel to our other sites when required.
