Why be a Senior Country Manager at THG?
As a Senior Country Manager All Brands (Asia) you'll lead the development and execution of overall B2C TMall ecommerce, Asia B2B strategies and business development across key Asia territories – China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and etc. Oversee the brands’ P&Ls and marketing investment efficiencies to ensure profitable business growth. As a Senior Country Manager for ASIA you'll:
TMall/Douyin/Red China Marketplaces
- Responsible for leading the ecommerce strategies to deliver commercial KPIs: develop sales forecasts, merchandising and sales strategies across multiple China ecommerce market places
- Work closely with external TP and oversee all aspects of trading operations: pricing, stock forecast, sales promotion activities, customer acquisition initiatives and etc, providing strategic advice on ongoing optimisation of key commercial metrics such as traffic, conversions, customer acquisition & retention and so on.
- Develop an effective work process to regularly review sales, marketing and product performance, proposing advice and action plans to improve future sales performance
- Keep abreast of latest China ecommerce industry and competitive landscapes and propose new business opportunities to drive commercial growth
Asia B2B Sales Distribution
- Lead business development initiatives and onboard suitable distribution partners in key Asian markets, taking full ownership of new business partner onboarding, commercials negotiation to ensure profitable business growth
- Lead the planning and implementation of B2B sales strategies – sales forecast and trading planning, account management, budget & PnL management
- Build strong working relationships with key sales accounts, reviewing and reporting sales KPI performance, proposing ideas and insights for further strategic and operations opitimisation
What Skills and Experience do I need?
- Must have 6 years+ China ecommerce market place and B2B distribution sales experiences, beauty and personal care industry experiences at a TP agency or distribution business is highly preferred
- Ability of leading the new business development from lead generation, pitching, negotiation through to commercials negotiation and deal closure
- Strong analytical skill and commercial acumen, able to analyse and translate sales/marketing/product data into operational insights and propose feasible actions to optimise sales performance
- Excellent people management skill, able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, lead and motivate the team to deliver sales results
- Ambitious, result driven, entrepreneurial with ability to work under pressure and multitask and handle business challenges as and when they arise
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaker, a secondary Asian language skill is a bonus
